Description
English: The Tuareg has discovered traces of North African mastigures (Uromastyx acanthinura, a reptile) in the sand between the dark rocks and is now trying to catch one. He suspects one under a stone slab. He digs a depression in the sand under the slab. He closes the opening on the other side with his shesh. Now he pokes one side with a branch. Then he pulls out the animal with the thorny tail on the other side. Now he puts it head first into his coat pocket.
Deutsch: Der Targi hat im Sand zwischen dem dunkeln Gestein Spuren von Dornschwänzen (Uromastyx acanthinura, ein Reptil) entdeckt und versucht nun, einen zu fangen. Unter einer Steinplatte vermutet er einen. Er gräbt unter der Platte eine Vertiefung in den Sand. Die Öffnung auf der anderen Seite verschliesst mit seinem Schesch. Jetzt stochert er auf einer Seite mit einem Ästchen. Dann zieht er auf der anderen Seite den Dornschwanz am Schwanz heraus. Nun steckt er ihn Kopf voran in seiner Kitteltasche.

Il en soupçonne une sous une plaque de pierre. Il creuse un trou dans le sable sous la plaque. Il bouche l'ouverture de l'autre côté avec son chèche. Maintenant, il pique d'un côté avec une petite branche. Puis, de l'autre côté, il retire la fouette-queues par la queue. Il la met ensuite la tête la première dans la poche de sa blouse.
