And in fact it&#8217;s the flat one for the set.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, it does have a built-in battery that you can charge via USB-C and its own controls to set up the heating or cooling feature.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The attachment\u2019s built-in battery capacity is 900 mAh and runs for about 60 minutes. You\u2019ll need to charge it for at least two hours. Pay attention to the LEDs\u2014they blink green continuously until fully charged. If you can&#8217;t feel the intensity, you risk going all out and potentially risking an injury.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Now, we get it \u2013 cold therapy is a champ at reducing inflammation and pain, while percussion therapy is about boosting circulation. But when they team up, it&#8217;s like a superhero duo turning against each other \u2013 counterproductive city!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>So, maybe keep them as solo acts for maximum superhero effect.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p>What&#8217;s more? We couldn\u2019t find any built-in security mechanism for this device that would prevent the simultaneous use of both therapies, which is what Therabody does for its Theragun Pro Plus sports massager with a cold attachment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Are There Any Cons?<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>We noticed a problem with the temperature differences. We struggled to feel them on our skin. There is a risk of using one temperature for either mode and not noticing the difference at all.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For cold therapy (which, as explained above, shouldn&#8217;t be combined with percussions), using classic ice packs is just easier and more effective.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"gb-container gb-container-77d9e1bf gb-container-mga-white-shadow-box-border-left\">\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Our Take: Is It Worth It?<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Indeed, it&#8217;s a neat feature, particularly because it&#8217;s <strong>included without extra charge<\/strong>. Therabody offers a similar cold massage gun attachment<strong> but sells it separately<\/strong>, much like Hyperice&#8217;s separate product offering.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Yet, the real kicker is the sensation, or lack thereof, which can be pretty subtle. To us, it leans more towards a <strong>feature for relaxation<\/strong> rather than offering significant therapeutic benefits.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"performance\">Bob and Brad C2 Pro: Performance<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Fancy features aside, can the Bob and Brad C2 Pro handle the main gig? We sought to find out. We poked and prodded at its various performance features.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"amplitude\">Amplitude<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Amplitude is the distance covered by the massage gun head as it percusses. We have <a href=\"https:\/\/massagegunadvice.com\/how-we-test-review-process\/\" class=\"ek-link\">tested and confirmed<\/a> it&#8217;s exactly the same as for the C2, at<strong> 8.5mm<\/strong>. So, this means there are <strong>no changes inside the device<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Is this good enough? Bob and Brad Massage Gun advertises up to 3200 RPM, so it&#8217;s close enough to say it&#8217;s the actual spec.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Given the 5-speed setup, we would\u2019ve loved a much lower starting point (say, between 1200 RPM and 1500 RPM), but we\u2019re not complaining.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The silver lining? That 8.6 mm amplitude we chatted about earlier isn&#8217;t looking too shabby after all. With a robust 3150 RPM, you&#8217;re in for a <strong>deep and intensive trigger point massage experience<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But there\u2019s one more performance aspect to consider.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"stall-force\">Stall Force<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Stall force \u2013 the amount of force a device can endure. It\u2019s not the easiest thing to slap a ruler on, but we&#8217;ve got our methods.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We bring other devices for a little side-by-side.
