the carrying case. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The truth is, most carrying cases are generic and have nothing worth mentioning every time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But once in a while, something impresses you, and you have to talk about it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In this case, Recovapro MAX\u2019s <strong>carrying case looks fascinating<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For starters, it doesn\u2019t look like the usual tough-cover generic cases we see with other devices. This one\u2019s a genuine bag \u2013 a shoulder bag, to be precise. It feels like the kind of bag that carries an important electronic device.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It\u2019s not too big and has a metal logo at the bottom right corner. Also, it has a convenient carrying strap and a handle. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It has extra spaces like a zippered pocket on the outside. The inside looks well-organized.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Inside the bag, we found the device and other accessories (which we will discuss later in this review). <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The first impression you get is that it\u2019s a big gun \u2013 <strong>full-sized<\/strong>, no doubt. It\u2019s not as oversized as the Urikar Pro 2, or the recently <a href=\"https:\/\/massagegunadvice.com\/pulseroll-massage-gun-review\/\" class=\"ek-link\">reviewed Pulseroll PRO<\/a>. It looks thick as well (<a href=\"https:\/\/massagegunadvice.com\/achedaway-pro-review-vs-theragun-hypervolt\/\" class=\"ek-link\">Achedaway Pro<\/a> comes to mind).&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It\u2019s rather heavy, which is somewhat surprising. However, the overall <strong>quality is great<\/strong> here \u2013 we can tell because we have seen a lot of guns.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Despite the uninspiring T-shape design, it has a modern look. Part of it is because Recovapro revamped the overall design of their products last year \u2013 what we have here is a fresh, up-to-date look.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The color is a combination of <strong>satin black and gray<\/strong>, which makes it look nifty. The edges are rounded to add to the sleek look \u2013 reminds us of Apple products.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" For instance, the top gray part. The metal is cold touch which tells us it\u2019s authentic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Again, this is similar to what Achedaway Pro has. The top and bottom of the motor are plastic but feel smooth \u2013 almost like rubber was added. It has the <strong>premium feel<\/strong> you expect from a top-brand product. There are spaces within the stand for the attachments. No. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But we weighed it ourselves, and it\u2019s way more than the said weight. Our high precision scale indicated about 3 pounds, or 2.95 if you don\u2019t like rounding off. That translates to about 1338 grams with the flat attachment on.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>3 pounds is a lot of weight for a massage gun. To contextualize it, the big <a href=\"https:\/\/massagegunadvice.com\/theragun-pro-review\/\" class=\"ek-link\">Theragun Pro<\/a> weighs 2.6 pounds, while <a href=\"https:\/\/massagegunadvice.com\/achedaway-pro-review-vs-theragun-hypervolt\/\" class=\"ek-link\">Achedaway Pro<\/a>, though bulky, weighs about 2.7 pounds. Simply put, you will need strength to maneuver this Recovapro MAX massage gun.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But don\u2019t worry too much about the weight if you\u2019d rather have something less weighty. The two prongs are well placed to avoid touching the spine.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Cone Head<\/strong> with a silicone tip \u2013 If you don\u2019t like the bullet head\u2019s aggressiveness, this one can help target tender areas or bony parts.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Flat Head<\/strong> \u2013 The universal one in the set. It looks great and has a sleek surface. It also comes with soft tips. We strongly advise against using it directly on your spine. href=\"https:\/\/massagegunadvice.com\/ekrin-b37s-review\/\" class=\"ek-link\">Ekrin B37S<\/a> \u2013 one of our all-time favorite devices. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The lock system is similar too. It\u2019s not the basic push-pull system that often requires force to execute and frequently exposes attachment gaskets to quick wear and tear. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Instead, it\u2019s the <strong>twist-and-lock system<\/strong> that, until now, is only available with Ekrin B37S and <a href=\"https:\/\/massagegunadvice.com\/ekrin-365-review\/\" class=\"ek-link\">Ekrin 365<\/a>. Can both these brands have the same manufacturer? The button is at the front of the panel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Here\u2019s how it works:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Press and hold to activate. The blue ring around the button lights up on activation.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Press the button again to change speeds<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Press and hold again to deactivate. Stroke Length), Stall force, and Percussions Per Minute. <strong>The RecovaPro MAX device shines here<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Amplitude<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"is-style-magad-more-box\">It\u2019s the <strong>distance covered by the massage gun head<\/strong> during the percussive hits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Recovapro boldly <strong>advertises it as being 16mm long<\/strong>. This is Theragun territory and the longest in the business.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, <strong>we did measure it<\/strong> using our high-precision caliper and got 14.44mm. Less than the advertised 16mm, but still impressive.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>We pitted it against Theragun Pro and Achedaway Pro to record the difference in hits, and to be honest, we couldn\u2019t tell. If there\u2019s any difference, it\u2019s very negligible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Another device we know that has a 14mm amplitude is <a href=\"https:\/\/massagegunadvice.com\/hypervolt-2-pro-review\/\" class=\"ek-link\">Hypervolt 2 Pro<\/a> \u2013 a premium device. <a href=\"https:\/\/massagegunadvice.com\/opove-apex-review\/\" class=\"ek-link\">Opove APEX<\/a> too boasts of similar amplitude.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Therefore, this makes it a <strong>percussive feel device<\/strong> <sup><a href=\"#reference-1\" class=\"ek-link\">(1)<\/a><\/sup>, not a vibrational one. Expect true and deep percussive hits. It\u2019s probably not the best device for the neck and other delicate areas, but it\u2019s perfect for massaging large muscle groups.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But does it have enough stall force? <\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Stall Force<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"is-style-magad-more-box\">Stall force is the <strong>amount of pressure a device can resist<\/strong> without stalling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Here it\u2019s <strong>advertised as 60lbs.<\/strong> and we believe them. It feels like some powerful guns we\u2019ve tested, such as Achedaway Pro, Ekrin B37S, and Theragun Pro.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At top speed, it\u2019s <strong>nearly impossible to stall it<\/strong>. Even at the lowest speed, you\u2019d have to stall it intentionally. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We think it may even be tougher to stall than Achedaway Pro, especially at lower gears, which ultimately makes it one of the <a href=\"https:\/\/massagegunadvice.com\/most-powerful-massage-guns\/\" class=\"ek-link\">most powerful massage guns<\/a> in the UK (and likely beyond).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-pullquote alignright\"><blockquote><p>Recovapro MAX doesn\u2019t pretend to be powerful; it actually is powerful.<\/p><\/blockquote><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>It has a <strong>pressure sensor<\/strong> \u2013 a trait we often reserve for the top guns. The reactive force meter allows you to control the pressure you apply as you massage. The blue light around the button is the indicator.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It\u2019s a nice feature to have, and we believe Recovapro was trying to follow in the footsteps of <a href=\"https:\/\/massagegunadvice.com\/theragun-pro-review\/\" class=\"ek-link\">Theragun Pro<\/a> and Hypervolt 2 Pro. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We also like the execution and the blue light used. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nonetheless, it\u2019s not a must-have feature, but it\u2019s probably expected, given the price tag.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>With a 14mm amplitude and a high stall force, this is <strong>one of the soberest guns<\/strong> out there. It\u2019s made for serious folks who want a deep tissue massage, and we love it!<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>However, there\u2019s more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Percussions<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>We have tested <a href=\"https:\/\/massagegunadvice.com\/highest-amplitude-massage-gun\/\" class=\"ek-link\">high amplitude guns<\/a> and concluded that they rev slower than their medium and low amplitude counterparts. It makes sense because the long amplitude covers a longer distance hence the slow percussions. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>However, this is the <strong>first high amplitude gun that defies that rule<\/strong>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>At first, we thought the percussion range is overstated, just like we have seen with many other devices. The advertised range is <strong>1400-3200RPM<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This baffled us, so we had to measure it to be sure. They work the nervous system, overloading it, which helps ease muscle tension. You often don\u2019t get everything you want in a gun, but this one seems to have it all. It doesn\u2019t rattle nor crackle. The attachments mounting system helps to keep it quiet.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Battery<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>It has a well-juiced battery with a <strong>3350mAh capacity<\/strong>. This partly explains the significant weight. The battery can last 2 weeks before you have to charge it again under normal usage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The vertical <strong>blue LED stripe<\/strong> on the left is a battery level indicator. It flashes as the device recharges and turns solid blue when it is fully charged.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You also get a <strong>charging dock<\/strong> for convenience. Recovapro Lite has a charging mat that doesn\u2019t do much. This one actually works as a charger.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You also get extra charging plugs for the UK, EU, US, and AU. At least, according to the packaging, we understand this to be an actual feature. It\u2019s also indicated on their website.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, we couldn\u2019t figure out how to connect it to our iOS device. One of the cards in the package says, \u201cwe made an app for you.\u201d The app is called Recovasmart by Recovapro. We searched for their app on Google Play, but also came up blank. We are hoping to get a clarification on this from the brand. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For now, however, it\u2019s safe to say the Recovasmart app isn\u2019t here yet.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"is-style-magad-info-box\"><strong>UPDATE<\/strong>: The Recovapro&#8217;s RecovaSmart app has just gone live on the <a href=\"https:\/\/apps.apple.com\/eg\/app\/recovasmart-by-recovapro\/id1627016144\" class=\"ek-link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Apple App Store<\/a>.
